Manufacturer Warranties

Most flooring products sold by UK Floor Depot are covered by a manufacturer's residential or commercial warranty. Warranty periods vary depending on the product type, brand, and intended use.

What Is Covered?

Manufacturer warranties typically cover:

Manufacturing defects
Structural defects in the product
Premature wear within the stated warranty period (where applicable)

What's Not Covered?

Warranties generally do not cover:

Incorrect installation
Improper subfloor preparation
Moisture or water damage (unless specifically stated as waterproof)

Damage caused by furniture, pets, impact, or accidents
Colour variation, batch variation, or natural characteristics of wood

Installation Requirements

To ensure your flooring performs as intended and remains covered under warranty, installation should be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions and industry best practices.

We strongly recommend using a qualified flooring installer.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your flooring has a manufacturing defect, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible with:

Your order number
Photographs of the issue
A detailed description of the problem
Any supporting installation information if requested

Our team will review the information and, where appropriate, liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf.

Important Information

Flooring should always be inspected before and during installation. Products that have been fitted are generally considered accepted and may not be eligible for claims relating to visible defects that could have been identified prior to installation.
