UK FLOOR DEPOT TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

Welcome to UK FLOOR DEPOT. By accessing our website, placing an order, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms govern the sale of all flooring products, accessories, samples, and related services supplied by UK FLOOR DEPOT.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or place an order.

2. Product Information

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing are accurate.

However:

• Product colours may vary depending on screen settings and lighting conditions.

• Flooring samples are intended as a guide only.

• Natural wood products may contain variations in grain, texture, shade, knots, and markings.

• Flooring from different manufacturing batches may vary slightly in colour or appearance.

These characteristics are normal and are not considered defects.

3. Free Samples

We offer up to 3 free samples per customer.

Please note:

• Samples are intended to provide an indication of colour and texture.

• Samples may not represent the full variation found across complete flooring packs.

• We cannot guarantee an exact colour match between samples and future orders due to batch variations.

4. Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability.

Once an order has been processed or dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.

UK FLOOR DEPOT reserves the right to:

• Refuse any order

• Limit quantities

• Cancel orders where pricing or stock errors occur

In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be issued.

5. Pricing

All prices displayed are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

Prices and promotions may change without notice.

The price payable will be the price confirmed at checkout and shown on your order confirmation.

6. Delivery

We offer FREE delivery on eligible UK mainland orders.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Most orders are delivered within 1–5 working days.

Important delivery information:

• Deliveries are kerbside only.

• Drivers are unable to carry flooring into your property.

• Someone must be available to inspect and sign for the goods.

• Flooring should be checked immediately upon delivery.

• Any shortages or damages must be reported within 24 hours.

While we aim to meet all estimated delivery dates, we are not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather, traffic, supplier issues, or events beyond our control.

7. Damaged or Missing Goods

If goods arrive damaged:

• Sign the delivery as damaged where possible.

• Take photographs of the pallet, packaging, and flooring.

• Contact us within 24 hours.

Failure to report damage within the required timeframe may affect our ability to process a claim with the courier.

8. Installation

All flooring must be inspected before installation.

Do not install any flooring that appears damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Once flooring has been installed, it is deemed accepted and claims relating to visible defects may not be accepted.

We strongly recommend installation by a qualified flooring professional.

UK FLOOR DEPOT is not responsible for installation costs, uplift costs, labour charges, accommodation costs, loss of earnings, or any consequential losses.

9. Natural Characteristics & Batch Variation

Many flooring products naturally vary in colour, grain, texture, and appearance.

Wood flooring is a natural product and no two planks are identical.

Laminate, SPC, LVT, and vinyl flooring may also vary slightly between production batches.

Customers extending existing floors should contact us before ordering to discuss batch availability.

Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed.

10. Returns Policy

Customers may return unused and unopened flooring within 31 days of delivery.

Returned goods must:

• Be unused

• Remain unopened

• Be in original packaging

• Be suitable for resale

Customers are responsible for return costs unless goods are faulty or supplied incorrectly.

Returned products must be securely packaged to prevent transit damage.

11. Over-Ordered Packs

Unused and unopened spare packs may be returned within 31 days of delivery.

A 50% restocking fee may apply.

Returns are accepted at the discretion of UK FLOOR DEPOT and must be authorised before return.

12. Refunds

Refunds will be processed once returned goods have been received and inspected.

Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method.

Please allow up to 14 days for processing following receipt of returned goods.

13. Product Warranty

Many products are supplied with manufacturer warranties.

Warranty periods vary by product and manufacturer.

Warranties do not cover:

• Incorrect installation

• Improper subfloor preparation

• Water damage

• Wear and tear

• Misuse or neglect

• Accidental damage

• Failure to follow installation instructions

Customers should refer to the specific manufacturer's warranty documentation where applicable.

14. Website Content

All content on this website, including logos, images, product descriptions, graphics, and text, remains the property of UK FLOOR DEPOT or its licensors.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing within these Terms excludes any rights provided under applicable UK consumer law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UK FLOOR DEPOT shall not be liable for:

• Loss of profit

• Loss of business

• Indirect or consequential losses

• Installation costs

• Labour charges

• Delays caused by third-party couriers

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the products purchased.

16. Privacy

Any personal information provided to us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

17. Changes to These Terms

UK FLOOR DEPOT reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The latest version will always be available on our website.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
